Captivate Action Ltd and Gabrielle Moleta

Captivate Action was crafted in 2013 by founding director Lyndall Grant. While working in the U.K. as an actor and fight choreographer, Lyndall sought out training for performance capture and discovered that none was available. Anywhere. In response, Lyndall created Captivate Action.

Captivate became the first company in the world to offer training in motion capture and dramatic combat performance. In 2016 Lyndall returned home to Australia, and brought Captivate with her.

Gabrielle had taught Lyndall during Lyndall’s acting training in London and it was because of Gabrielle’s specialism in Transformation and specifically in the animal work this detailed process illuminates, that Lyndall asked Gabrielle to join her in the first stages of setting up Captivate more than a decade ago! In the courses and masterclasses and training programmes that Lyndall ran in the U.K until her return to Australia, Gabrielle’s ‘work in Animal’ formed a key part.
